Andra Smith, Executive Director

Andra is a dedicated nonprofit leader with a strong commitment to improving equitable access to nutritious food, particularly in rural communities. As Executive Director of the Sequim Food Bank since 2016, she increased the organization’s budget, expanded services into eight distinct food access programs, and built a robust team of staff and volunteers to meet growing community needs. Andra has also played key leadership roles across the region and state, including serving as Treasurer and former Board Chair of the Washington Food Coalition, and participating in multiple cross-sector collaboratives focused on health, housing, and food security. Known for her collaborative, results-driven approach, Andra is passionate about strengthening partnerships and building sustainable systems that support both individuals and communities. She is honored to serve as Executive Director of the Washington Food Coalition and looks forward to advancing a connected, resilient hunger-relief network across Washington.

Kyla Tucker, Membership and Education Manager 

Kyla is a public health professional with a strong commitment to improving food security and health equity. With a Master of Public Health from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, Kyla has dedicated her career to addressing barriers in access to nutritious food in underserved communities. She has contributed to academic research on national food policy, led initiatives to increase youth participation in meal programs, developed health education programs for food pantries, and collaborated with local organizations to create sustainable solutions for food insecurity. Most recently, Kyla worked as the Assistant Director of Training and Education in Student Wellbeing at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Kyla is excited to bring her passion for community-driven change to Washington Food Coalition and to work toward a healthier, more equitable future for all.

Dana Cordy, Nutrition Consultant

Dana’s work is centered around increasing access to nutritious, affordable, and sustainable foods that meet the needs of diverse cultures. As a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist working in the field of public health nutrition, she is especially passionate about changing the food system to improve health outcomes for those who are most vulnerable. Dana finds the most impactful efforts are those created through community partnerships. She has previously managed nutrition and health programs in clinical and community settings in Minneapolis, New York City and Seattle. She currently consults for food banks, emergency food programs and other community-based organizations implementing evidence-based strategies to promote nutrition security. She serves as an advisor to nutrition incentive providers to advance health equity and improve nutritional health.
