WASHINGTON FOOD COALITION
The Washington Food Coalition (WFC) serves as the collective voice of food banks, meal programs, distribution systems, and anti-hunger advocates in Washington State. Through the collective efforts of its Board of Directors—consisting of elected representatives from the emergency food programs and distribution sectors—agency staff and member organizations, the WFC works to:
- Strengthen the position of emergency food providers;
- Foster the development of new programs;
- Help provide additional food for hungry individuals and families;
- Inform the public about hunger issues and conditions in Washington State.
The WFC actively educates and networks with organizations that strive to alleviate hunger throughout Washington State.
