Washington Food Coalition (WFC) is committed to strengthening the position of emergency food providers, fostering the development of new programs, helping to provide additional food for individuals and families who are hungry, and informing the public about hunger issues.  WFC is a membership-based coalition of emergency food providers.

WFC actively educates and networks with organizations that strive to alleviate hunger throughout Washington State.

Thank you everyone, participants, presenters and sponsors, who helped make this year's conference a success!

This year more than 150 representatives of emergency food providers, human and community service organizations, government agencies and the companies and organizations that serve them participated in 33 workshops, tours, panels and presentations, ranging from Packing Houses and Organic Farms to Writing an Annual Appeal Letter, Food Safety to Pandemic Flu, Social Networking to Inspiring Clients to Eat More Healthfully.

Mariana Chilton and Imani Sullivan, from the Witnesses to Hunger Project in Philadelphia, collaborated in an inspiring keynote address titled: Partnering with Mothers of Hungry Children: What They Teach us about Rising to the Challenge.
